Using a pair of tweezers and a bamboo stick, participants carefully arrange pressed flowers inside the mould. The workshop ends once the arrangement is complete. The instructor then pours the melted wax, and after about four hours, the lantern is removed from the mould. Finished pieces can be picked up the next day. It is suitable for both LED lights and real candles when used with our fitted glass holder.

Add-on $6: This pure soy candle comes in a glass container designed to fit this lantern and includes a non-slip mat. After burning, you can reuse the glass container by placing any tea light candle inside. The real candle flame shines brighter than an LED light, beautifully illuminating the silhouettes of the flowers inside the lantern.

Create your own glass figurine decor candle! First, make your sand art — we’ll guide you through the basics. Arrange miniature glass figurines, add some decorations such as natural seashells, starfishes, and glitters. Watch as the instructor pours melted gel wax. After removing bubbles, your candle is ready to take home. Keep it level during transport and place it on a flat surface overnight until the gel fully sets.

Enjoy your tiny world creation with a colour‑changing LED light (M size only), or insert the separate wick to enjoy it as a real candle with a warm, gentle flame. Please light the candle only with an adult present.

1. Glass Figurine Decor Candle

    Small jar (D6.5xH9cm, 3 figurines, no LED light)

    $35 per child - Max 6 children

 

    Medium jar (D8xH9cm, 4 figurines, colour-changing LED light in the lid)

    $40 per child - Max 6 children

 

2. Gel Art Lantern Seashells 

    $34 per child  (D6.5 x H6 cm, natural seashell, 1 LED candle light)

    - Max 8 children, one size, includes 1 LED light

 

    Safety: The LED light contains a coin battery, which can pose a choking hazard for small children.

 

Mobile Workshop Fee

    $100 per party - 2.5 hours total

 

This includes:

・30 minutes of setup before the party

・60 - 80 mins guided workshop

・30 minutes of gel-wax pouring, cooling time, and tidy-up (children enjoy free play)

・10 minutes for gift wrapping and photo time (cake time can be included here)

 

What Children Will Create

Children will design their own art candles or lanterns using colored sand, miniature glass figurines (including sea animals, dogs, and Christmas themes), natural seashells, sparkles, and gemstones. Our staff will gently guide them through each step by showing instructional videos. Each piece will be completed with a clear gel-wax pour and then gift-wrapped.

 

Safety & Requirements

・A table and chairs for the workshop are required at your home; a table cover is provided.

・Electricity and space for the heating area (for the provided 100 x 60 cm table) are required.

・Please ensure children stay away from the heating area where staff use an electric frypan to melt the gel-wax for 30 mins, which can reach temperatures above 100°C.

・Our coloured sand is non-toxic, asbestos-free and Australian-made.

・Service is available within the Gold Coast only. 

 

Cancellation & Payment

・Cancellations made 7 days before the party date will receive a full refund of the mobile workshop fee.

・Cancellations made within 6 days, including the day before and the day of the event, are not refundable due to material preparation and scheduling.

・The mobile workshop fee is paid at the time of booking.

・The product fees can be paid one day before the party, once the number of children is confirmed (minimum of 4 children). You can receive a full refund of the product fee if the party is cancelled.
